an amazing experience. We did many fun things during this year that will never be forgotten. Well first we went to official Olympic sledge hockey games in Vancouver with our little buddies! That was so fun! The game over all was, but not only that, we got to sit beside our friends and our buddies friends. And random music would just come on and the whole stadium would jump up and dance. Then we went on the “school hike” along with all the intermediates. It was something that really calmed me. Then nature out there was beautiful and the cleveland dam was astonishing and breath-taking. After that, we went kayaking on Bowen Island yesterday! It was very sunny, the ocean water was very refreshing, and after we all got to go to the beach! We also went to PlayLand on the 24th. That was one of the most funnest days I have ever had in my life. Honestly I went on rides I haven’t been on before, like ”Crazy Beach Party” – my new favourite! Those days wil never be forgotten. Overall, Grade seven has been an amazing year filled with hope, dreams, sadness and happiness, making it a sad thing to say goodbye too. This is Samin, moving on from grade seven into highschool. Four years at Ridgeview, and I’m pleased how they turned out.

These weeks have been endless& lots of fun! School has been tough though, I think it’s because it’s ending soon so the work starts to get a lot harder.  We’ve been getting a lot of projects lately, big ones which take a lot of effort and hard work put into them. We have our persuasive presentation, which means we have to do research on our topic, write a draft, convert it into que cards then present it to the class in under one minute and thirty seconds. Not only that but we also have our “book” that were making. We pick a subject, then create a fiction book about it and put it all together once the everything is done. I’m doing a book on the country Turkey, and since I wanna good grade, I’m writing a lot. Then, last but not least the Term three reading assignment, I’m not even finished my book, or my report or anything which is why this is going to be difficult for me. The good news is I’m still looking forward to upcoming field trips and events, like Mayfair, the grade seven car wash and our possible field trip to Play Land. First off, I’m very glad were having Mayfair on our last year here! I wouldn’t want to miss it since it only comes every 2 years. I already pre-ordered my tickets so I’m excited! I’m also very excited for the grade seven car wash, I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’ve always wanted to be a part of a car wash. And lastly play land, I really can’t wait to go there with all my friends, and go on all the rides, especially the pirate ship, it’s going to be so fun!

This week has been really…. organized! It started off good and then a lot of responsibility kicked in. Lately we’ve been getting a lot of homework and something just struck me to finish all of it on the day it was assigned. I ended up doing so much homework I had no homework last night and nothing to do but read during flex. I was SO bored that I started highlighting my planner. O.o weird, huh ? Today was exciting because its the first day of the ParaOlmypics! We’re going on two Field trips this week, on Monday were going to Para-Olympic curling and the whole school is coming with us to Para-Olympic sledge hockey. It’s going to be really exciting. This week we also started girls self -defense! Its a lot of fun and gets us out of doing something un-fun for P.E. I think it might be useful to know though in high school and as were growing up to always feel like we can protect ourselves. We’ve done two classes so far!
Grade seven has passed by so fast this year. We only have three months of school left! How did it go by so quickly? We have so many exciting things coming up, like mayfair, going to play land with the class & more! Grade seven is going to be the year we won’t forget. ( well, I hope so! ) We had our Valentines dance and it was A LOT of fun so I’m guessing that graduation will be lots of fun too. I can’t wait. HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This previous week has been pretty crazy. We’ve done so much! First we had our last vollyball game before the big jamboree at Rockridge. We played against Chartwell and won all 6 games. We’ve really been working hard for the upcoming tournament when we play against all the West Van schools in the district. ( very exciting ) We also have been doing a lot of assignments  that we’ve been working hard on. It’s been hard but at least we have the weekend coming up in about 15 minutes where I meet my friends at the mall! But anyway, this week really has been stressing at times. We have our math cast and me and my partner have been goofing around a lot and didn’t get much work done, and when we did today, the computer froze and didn’t save our work so we have to start all over again next class. Were really behind on that! We also have the wiki Olympic project. One of the people in my group is the same person I’m working with on our math cast! Fun!! And were doing all this before we rap-up for Olympic break. On the bright side, well be getting our second term report cards before we go off for Olympic break. Well also have ”Pajama Day” on Friday the 12th, yay! This week has also been really fun with curling and buddies. We had our last curling session at the North Shore Winter Club, we won prizes and it was really fun! I never knew that curling was that interesting! Plus, hanging out with our kindergarten buddies made it all better. (: This week has been a hard and really fun one too.
